# Understand Assistant access

Assistant access is scoped by your signed-in workspace and the features exposed to your account. It is not a substitute for reviewing permissions, product state, or generated output.

Sign in to the workspace where you intend to use **Assistant**.

1. Confirm you are in the correct workspace.
2. Open **Assistant** from the application.
3. Review any contextual result before acting on it.
4. Use the underlying page to verify saved changes or job state.

The Assistant works only with the context and actions currently exposed by your signed-in product experience.

## If something goes wrong [#if-something-goes-wrong]

Do not attempt to bypass access controls through prompts. If a needed action is unavailable, ask a workspace administrator or use the supported product surface.
