# Set up CopyHero with the assistant

> Follow the guided first-run setup: start your trial, build your first workflow, and see a product transformed.

On your first visit, CopyHero opens **CopyHero Setup** — a guided conversation
with the CopyHero assistant. In about five minutes it builds your first
product-import pipeline with you and runs it on a real product, so you see the
transformation before you touch the rest of the app.

The progress bar on the left always shows where you are. Your progress is
saved: if you leave and come back later, the assistant continues where you
left off.

## What the setup walks you through [#what-the-setup-walks-you-through]

1. **Free trial.** The assistant shows a trial card with the plan and price.
Select **Start free trial** to enter payment details on the secure billing
page; you are not billed today and can cancel anytime during the trial.
You return to the setup automatically. The trial is required to continue.
If the plan on the card has no trial period, the card says **Subscribe**
instead and billing starts right away — the card always tells you which
   of the two it is.
2. **Your store.** Enter your store's web address so CopyHero can detect your
language and currency, or choose **I don't have a store yet** and tell the
   assistant both values instead.
3. **Basics.** The assistant explains the two words you will see everywhere:
a **task** is one step of your listing process, and a
   [**workflow**](/help/workflows/how-work-is-organized) is your tasks chained
   in order, run per product.
4. **A practice product.** Paste a **Shopify** product URL — any store's
product page — or choose **No URL — use a demo product**. Guided setup
stays on Shopify links because they fetch in seconds; AliExpress imports
work everywhere else in CopyHero but can take minutes, which is a poor
first run. A pasted link is only saved at
this point — the import happens together with your first run, so the
product lands in your library already processed.
5. **Build.** Together you create four starter tasks — build a structured
description, translate to your store language, convert prices to your
store currency, and write a product title — and chain them into your
first workflow. You can ask questions at any point.
6. **First run.** The workflow runs on your practice product, one task at a
time, and the assistant shows you the before and after side by side when it
   finishes.
7. **Done.** The assistant shows you where your tasks, workflow, and product
live in the app. Select **Start the tour** for a short guided tour of the
app (see below), or **Connect your Shopify store** to
[connect a destination store](/help/stores/connect-shopify) as your next
   step.

## The guided tour [#the-guided-tour]

**Start the tour** begins a walkthrough that points at each part of the app in
turn and explains what it is for — the sidebar, your tasks and workflow, your
product library, and where to connect a store. Every step has **Next**,
**Back** and **Skip**, so you can leave whenever you like; **Ask** ends the
tour and opens the assistant if you would rather ask a question.

The tour is not part of setup and nothing depends on finishing it.

## After the setup [#after-the-setup]

Everything you built is yours to keep and edit: the four tasks appear under
**Tasks**, the workflow under **Workflows**, and the practice product in your
[Product Library](/help/products/products-vs-library). From here, follow
[your first product run](/help/getting-started/first-product-run) to import
with a destination store.

## Skipping the setup [#skipping-the-setup]

Once your trial is active, **Skip setup** (top right) takes you straight to
the app. Anything already created stays in your account.
