A single product has no delete button. You remove a product, or many products, from
your Product Library by deleting the folder they are filed in.

## Delete a product with its folder [#delete-a-product-with-its-folder]

1. Open **Library** in the sidebar.
2. If the products are not in a folder yet, select **Create folder**, select
the products in the list, and choose **Add to folders**.
3. Open the folder's menu in the sidebar and select **Delete subtree**.
4. Read the dialog and confirm.

## What is deleted and what stays [#what-is-deleted-and-what-stays]

**Delete subtree** deletes the folder and every folder nested inside it. A
product is deleted with the folder when both of these are true: it is filed only
in that subtree, and it is not linked to a Shopify store. Products that are also
filed in a folder outside the subtree, and products linked to a Shopify store,
stay. Nothing is removed from your Shopify store.

The practice product from the [guided setup](/help/getting-started/guided-setup)
is not linked to a store, so a folder delete removes it.

## There is no reset [#there-is-no-reset]

CopyHero has no archive or reset option for the whole catalog; deleting folders
is the way to remove many products at once. Deleting a store with **Delete
Store** removes only the connection to it, not your products. To get products
removed that this page does not cover, or to close your account, see
[cancel your subscription or delete your account](/help/settings/cancel-and-delete-account).
