# Search products


> Search research results and select products for the next step.

Use **Research** to search available product results, refine the view, and select results for import where that option is offered.

## Prerequisites [#prerequisites]

Research access and a search term. Choose a destination store only if you intend to import directly to one.

## Steps [#steps]

1. Open **Research**.
2. Enter a query in the search field.
3. Optionally choose the displayed region or store filters.
4. Review **Fresh** and, when available, **Competitors** results.
5. Select products, then choose the appropriate import action.

## Options [#options]

The page can offer page navigation, filters, selection tools, and different import destinations. Only use actions shown for the selected result.

## Expected result [#expected-result]

Selected products are passed to the chosen import path or added to the library when that action is available.

## If something goes wrong [#if-something-goes-wrong]

Try a more specific query, confirm your Research access, and check import feedback before submitting again.
