# Cancel your subscription or delete your account


> Where to cancel a subscription or trial, who to write to for account deletion, and where Settings is.

Subscription and cancellation live under **Settings** in the sidebar. Deleting an
account is not available in the app: you ask the CopyHero team.

## Where Settings is [#where-settings-is]

**Settings** is a section at the bottom of the sidebar, not a page of its own.
Open it to reach **Subscription**, **Webhooks**, **Tags**, **Import profiles**,
**Integrations** and **Sharing**. **Affiliate** and **Help Center** have their own
sidebar entries.

## Cancel your subscription or trial [#cancel-your-subscription-or-trial]

1. Open **Settings → Subscription**.
2. Select **Manage Billing** at the top right. It opens the billing portal,
   where you manage your subscription. It shows while you have a subscription,
   a free trial included.
3. Your current plan's card offers **Manage Subscription**, which opens the same
   portal.

Per the Terms of Service you can cancel at any time, and a cancellation takes
effect at the end of the current term. If you cannot find the option, write to
[support@copyhero.app](mailto:support@copyhero.app) and the team helps you cancel. The
assistant cannot cancel a subscription for you.

## Delete your account [#delete-your-account]

There is no delete-account option in the app. Write to
[support@copyhero.app](mailto:support@copyhero.app) from the email address of your
account and ask for your account and data to be deleted. The Privacy Notice also links a
data request form. Say that you want the account deleted, not only the
subscription cancelled.
