# Retry failed jobs

> Find the failed step in a workflow run, correct the cause, and retry it.

When only part of a workflow fails, inspect the failed job before retrying the
whole run. Completed jobs remain visible and do not need to be recreated.

## Find the failure [#find-the-failure]

1. Open the workflow history.
2. Select the affected run.
3. Find the product and job marked **Error**.
4. Read the job message and confirm which step needs attention.

## Correct the cause first [#correct-the-cause-first]

Common causes include:

* A destination store that needs to be reconnected.
* Missing Shopify permissions.
* Invalid or unavailable source product information.
* Workflow settings that no longer match the selected product or store.

Retrying without correcting the cause usually produces the same failure.

## Retry the failed work [#retry-the-failed-work]

After correcting the problem, use **Retry Failed Jobs** from the run detail.
Confirm with **Retry** when prompted. CopyHero resets failed jobs to pending and
re-runs them; queued work is not complete until its status changes successfully.

If the same job fails again after the configuration is corrected, keep the run
and job details available when contacting support.

## Expected result [#expected-result]

Only failed jobs are retried. Completed and cancelled jobs are not recreated, and retries do not consume additional quota.

## Errors and limits [#errors-and-limits]

Retrying before the cause is corrected usually produces the same error. If no jobs are in error, there is nothing for **Retry Failed Jobs** to reset.
