Use the Assistant

Use Assistant for focused, contextual help. Tell it the outcome you want; it can research available CopyHero guidance and context before recommending what to do next.

Prerequisites

Open Assistant and ensure you are in the intended workspace.

Steps

1. Describe the outcome, question, or problem in plain language. Include relevant object names, but never passwords, tokens, or secret URLs.
2. Let the Assistant investigate before you decide. For CopyHero guidance and recommendations, it searches short discovery excerpts, selects the best published help article, and reads that exact article or relevant section before relying on it. It also checks current state or configuration when a read-only capability exposes it and gives you the exact HTML article link.
3. Answer a follow-up question when one appears. The Assistant should ask one focused question only when the missing answer would materially change its recommendation or action.
4. Review what it found, what the documentation supports, and what it recommends. If it cannot inspect a setting or form, it should say so and tell you what to check in the product.
5. If you want help filling an exposed form, request the exact draft changes. The expected Copilot behavior is to change only those fields and leave the draft available for your review before saving.
6. Before any saved or direct change, review the exact proposed action. Confirm only when the proposal is concrete and correct; if anything is unclear, stop and ask the Assistant to clarify or revise it.
7. After an action, review the reported result in the linked product surface. Treat a queued workflow, import, or retry as accepted for processing, not necessarily completed, and follow its status there.

Options

The Assistant may use context from the page you are viewing, available read-only results, published-help discovery and article reads, navigation, and assistant-enabled forms. It cannot inspect every configuration or read every form. Help-article reads are capped at 16,000 characters; when a long article is explicitly truncated, the Assistant should retry with the exact relevant section before making a recommendation. It still gives you the public HTML link so you can review the source yourself. This reader is limited to published CopyHero help and does not fetch arbitrary web pages. Rely on the visible result and linked product surface rather than an assumed capability.

Expected result

The expected Copilot flow gives you an evidence-based recommendation before a change. You remain responsible for reviewing any draft and for confirming a persisted action only after the exact proposal is clear. Afterward, check the reported result or follow the linked status when an accepted action is still queued.

If something goes wrong

Rephrase the request with the desired outcome and current object name. If the Assistant cannot inspect the needed setting, use its guidance to check the underlying product page. If an action fails or remains queued, follow the visible result rather than asking it to assume completion.
