Create a metafield set
Build reusable groups of Shopify metafields for product imports.
Create a metafield set when the same fields should be generated or supplied for many products.
Prerequisites
Open Metafield Sets and have the namespace, key, and type required by Shopify.
Steps
- Select New set.
- Name the set and add its metafield entries.
- Configure each entry's prompt or value behavior and on-error handling.
- Save the set.
Options
Use a separate set for a distinct catalog or store requirement. Edit or delete sets from the Metafield Sets list.
Expected result
The saved set can be selected in import flows that support metafields.
If something goes wrong
Correct invalid field details or values, then save again. Do not delete a set that is still needed by an active configuration.
