Use metafields during import

Attach a saved set during an import to send compatible metafield values with the product result.

Prerequisites

Create a metafield set and choose a destination store with matching Shopify definitions.

Steps

1. Start a product import.
2. In the available metafield option, select a saved set.
3. Complete the remaining import choices.
4. Run the import and review the product result before publishing.

Expected result

The imported product uses the configured metafield entries where the destination accepts them.

If something goes wrong

Check the job or product result for the failed field. Correct the set or Shopify definition, then retry the affected work.
