Create a Conversion task
Convert prices and apply optional pricing, exchange-rate, and rounding rules.
Use a Conversion task to transform product prices, including optional currency conversion and pricing rules.
Before you begin
Decide whether you only need currency conversion or also need a multiplier, compare-at price changes, minimum price, custom rates, price brackets, or rounding.
Create the task
- Open Tasks, select New Task, then select Conversion.
- On General, enter Name and an optional Description.
- On Currency Conversion, turn on Enable Currency Conversion if needed.
- Turn on Enable Pricing Rules to use pricing controls. Set the multiplier, compare-at price, minimum price, or exchange-rate controls you need.
- Optionally turn on Use Price Brackets and use Add Bracket to set ranges.
- On Rounding, set the rounding values you want.
- Select Create Task.
Expected result
The Conversion task is ready to add to a workflow and will apply its saved settings when it runs.
Errors and limits
Price brackets are limited to 10. Each bracket must be valid and compatible with the other ranges; correct the highlighted values before saving. Leave optional controls off when you do not want them applied.
