Build a workflow

Build a workflow when you want the same task sequence to run on more than one product.

Before you begin

Create the tasks you need first. A workflow must include at least one valid task.

Build the workflow

1. Open Workflows and select New Workflow.
2. On General, enter a required Name and an optional Description.
3. Open Workflow Builder.
4. Add task blueprints from the task panel. On smaller screens, use Add Task.
5. Drag the selected steps into the order you want.
6. Select Create Workflow.

Expected result

The workflow appears in Workflows and is available in the Start Workflow dialog.

Errors and limits

The workflow cannot be saved without a name and at least one task. If a selected task has been deleted or is no longer valid, remove it and add a valid task again before saving. Reordering changes the order for future runs only.
